I am a physician by training, but I am no longer a practicing medical professional. Nowadays, I am mainly focused on teaching and training various subjects including Thai language for intermediate and advanced learners. I have over 20 years of experience in general education including teaching students of all ages (young learners, teenagers and adults) and training teachers. I would love to learn more about your Thai language learning journey and understand your language learning goals, so that I can prepare learning materials that suit your goals the most. A little bit about me: although I used to be a doctor, I spent the majority of my professional years as a trainer in the insurance business. I love learning new languages, and I routinely brush up on my English, Chinese and Hindi. I have developed a number of language learning techniques that I would love to share with you! Wow! What a profitable and illuminating time with Dr. Yu - he’s a great listener and he really knows how to ask questions in such a way that prompts me to want to speak longer - and that’s my primary goal! So I’m happy to have had the opportunity to learn with him. He’s also extremely articulate and careful about helping me choose the exact words I need for the given topic. Today he helped me use the word จุดยืน - a word I should have known before now. But I’m glad he steered me in the right direction! Thanks Dr. Yu! :)
