アテネ生まれ、ギリシャ在住で、古代ギリシャ語（アッティカ語）と現代ギリシャ語の両方を教えています。フランス語とドイツ語に堪能で、ロシア語とスペイン語の基礎知識もあります。ハーバード大学で文学士号を取得し、アッティカ・ギリシャ語の翻訳で優秀な成績を収めました。また、サンフランシスコ州立大学で経済学の修士号を、パリ第8大学で哲学の博士号を取得しています。
語学教育はとても好きですし、かなりの経験があります。もちろん、程度の差はありますが、しっかりとした基礎の上に立って、ギリシャ語をマスターしようとする人に教えることに興味があります。(観光旅行のためにギリシア語の表現を身につけたいというだけであれば、それは素晴らしいことです。）
注：古代ギリシア語は、国際的なエラスム語の発音で教えますが、生徒の希望があれば、現在のギリシア語の発音で教えます。
文法理解と実際の用法習得を追求し、学生が関心を持つアッティカ・ギリシャ語、コイネー・ギリシャ語、聖書ギリシャ語のテキスト分析と文学的考察を行う。学習者中心に改訂・適応された実績ある教科書と、検討対象となる著作の完全版を使用する。
注：古代ギリシャ語の発音指導は、国際的なエラスムス式発音、または学生の希望に応じて現代ギリシャ語の発音体系に基づきます。教材

Jordan’s passion for the Greek language and culture is truly marvelous . They have a remarkable ability to break down complex grammar and vocabulary into understandable parts, making a challenging subject feel accessible and engaging. Their lessons are always well-prepared and interesting, and they consistently go the extra mile to support students, patiently answering questions and offering encouragement. My daughter is 14 and really appreciates Iordanis because he doesn't treat her like a child and takes her seriously as a serious language student. She loves her classes and comes out of them excited and motivated to learn more. She especially loves how he brings etymology into the lessons. He is an excellent teacher.
