Jake Pointer

Lessons with Jake are not overwhelming, and he never makes me feel awkward when he corrects my mistakes. He provides materials based on my English level and interests. I started to think in English more instead of translating in my head. Also, even though I'm not a pet person myself I always anticipate the new pet he's taking care of, they're adorable and can't wait to see my favorite which is golden retriever.

ake is a very cool, systematic teacher. Everything he does is clear and well-thought-out. At the same time, he is a super flexible and client-oriented tutor. He is always proactive and listens to feedback. Jake works with teenagers and actively participates in discussions about their day and vacation experiences. He is an inquisitive teacher, thereby developing children's speaking skills by asking them questions and sharing his own experiences through the children's interests. I highly recommend him as an English language teacher.

Excellent teacher. Jake is very patient and kind, and since day one. I have felt very comfortable speaking with him. The classes are great; I really like that we have free conversation as I have noticed it's what has helped me the most to gain confidence. Also, we always learn new vocabulary with the material we review. 100% recommended.
