Over the past year and a half, I've taken lessons regularly with Murako 先生, and gone from sub-N4 level to passing the JLPT N2 test last December. Murako 先生 is patient and encouraging, and always provides a detailed and considerate follow-up list of grammar, vocab, and points of improvement for me to focus on. He has always encouraged me to attempt new challenges, and I consider him both a teacher and a friend.
