Another great lesson with Wakako-sensei. This time I told Wakako beforehand that I wanted work on a specific grammar points (ように + する). Wakako prepared some questions and sentences using this grammar for me to translate. Great way to put what you learn in textbooks in practice. There was still time for some informal chat and fun. Looking forward to our next lesson!

I've had two conversation sessions with Wakako sensei so far, and am looking forward to future conversations. I have been preparing for a trip to Japan and while I can read enough to navigate without much difficulty, listening and active recall conversations have still been a challenge. Wakako sensei has been very helpful tailoring her conversation topics to my skill level while boosting my speaking confidence. I am already more confident with the prospect of having everyday conversations with people while traveling. Thank you!

Another fun lesson! Wakako always makes me feel comfortable speaking freely without worrying about mistakes. Talking with her helped me realise that I can express much more than I originally thought.
