Excellent lesson with Jasmine! Jasmine brought some reading materials to the lesson. We practiced reading and getting a good pronunciation - especially on my problem areas. Jasmine gave me some tips on emphasizing certain words in a sentence. I can tell that Jasmine is really helping with my speaking and pronunciation already!

Super lesson with Jasmine! Jasmine brought a story to the lesson. While I read the story, Jasmine noted down the spots where my pronunciation/tones needed work. After reading, we went back to those spots and practiced. Jasmine really helps me understand what I need to do to pronounce the words correctly and get my speaking to the next level!

I had a first lesson with Jasmine. Jasmine had me pronounce a series of words with different tones. She quickly picked up on several different problem areas I have with pronunciation. Jasmine gave me honest, constructive feedback which I really appreciated!

Jasmine has a really good ear for these things. I am confident that she can help me improve speaking and pronunciation!

Jasmine is an excellent teacher! especially if your goal is to actually learn to speak. I did trial lessons with 4 other teachers, and her classes stood out above the others and were by far the most engaging and productive. She gets you talking, interacting and using the language from the start, instead of having you sit there and listen. Which is great, because learning a language requires active participation, not just passive listening. She also took the time to understand my goals, my current level, and how I want to move forward with learning Chinese. She’s easy to learn from, supportive, and just generally fun to have as a teacher. I’ve already gotten a lot of value out of the sessions we’ve had so far. 10/10 :) Would recommend her as your teacher.
