How are you? Thanks for taking me to be your guide in exploring Cantonese! I was born, educated and live in Hong Kong, so Cantonese is naturally my mother tongue. Like other hong kong kids, we have been learning English since kindergarten. My mandarin is conversational (enough for work :-D) I don't like learning languages in a boring and repetitive way so I won't do it when I teach ^^ My hobbies: reading, watching films, badminton, knitting and soapmaking ^^ I am currently learning French, and Vietnamese seems quite interesting ^^翻訳を表示する

I have taken 29 lessons with Alex. One and a half month ago, I was a absolute beginner. But now I am able to have a short Cantonese conversation about all kinds of daily topics. In this sense, I have reached the survival level as I hope. Alex is really a professional and experienced teacher. And she is super nice. Thank you so much!

Very fun lesson! Talked through what I want to learn and why and will adapt lessons to fit my needs. It was a very nice lesson and I felt very comfortable trying to speak in Cantonese (even if I said it wrong haha). There was homework set and I’m excited for my next lessons!
