This was only my first lesson with Nana Sensei, but it was absolutely fantastic! Nana Sensei is energetic, very patient and very happy to speak in formal or casual Japanese. After two years of studying Japanese at uni, it was incredibly refreshing to have such a fantastic speaking lesson after only really doing reading and writing these last two years. なな先生、ありがとうございました!

Nana is very clear and helpful at explaining. She meets me where I’m at in my learning and tries to speak in Japanese most of the time at my level. Her presentation/teaching slides are very clear and helpful as well. She is flexible and adjusts to what works well for me.

Classes with Teacher Nana have really helped me improve my pronunciation and reading speed. She adapts to your needs, pausing periodically to ask if you have any questions or doubts. She doesn't pressure you at all and makes you feel comfortable asking anything. ありがとうございます 😊❤️

I’ve been taking classes with Nana for about two months now, and I’ve made significant progress in my Japanese; I can understand simple sentences. Her classes are very dynamic, and she creates an environment where I feel comfortable participating and asking questions. In my opinion, her teaching method is highly effective for me. I look forward to continuing to learn with you, なな せんせい! ありがとうございます!ദ്ദി◝ ⩊ ◜.ᐟ

Nana-sensei and I are continuing to work through the causative-passive form in Genki II. It is one of the more difficult grammar areas for me, but her structured explanations and careful guidance make it easier to keep working through it without becoming discouraged.
She pays close attention to whether I have genuinely understood the material rather than simply moving on after covering it once. With her support, I feel that I am making steady progress and am able to persevere even when the grammar is challenging. 今日もありがとうございました。一生懸命頑張りました!
