Lilly is a certified examiner and a trained teacher (not just certified). So she is super qualified to teach and understands how to teach well. However, she doesn't make it formal. Instead, she makes it comfortable. It's like a French friend is helping you learn French, but with more patience than any friend would offer. She is structured, casual, and helpful. And she is super caring. I'm so impressed!

Lilly is an incredibly intelligent and cultured human with a very warm heart. She is passionate about teaching language and makes the humbling experience of trying to learn french less difficult for me. She coaches my repeated mistakes with grace and I feel inspired to try again after each lesson. I HIGHLY recommend her phonetics training. Lilly is a teacher that speaks frankly about learning French. She is good about explaining French idioms. For example, I learned today that Je suis bien means only, "I am comfortable," but "je va bien" is used to mean "I am well," "I am fine," and "I am in good health." She is good at speaking in French and is patient with listening to my very broken French. Her corrections are done so gently, she is constantly encouraging. And, she is also good at understanding when explaining a concept in French would be too hard and she should switch to explaining it in English so I actually understand the important French grammar. Since starting lessons with Lilly, je pense en francais plus des temps et je parle plus et plus. She is super encouraging and it makes learning a tough language so much more uplifting.
