Hi! I'm a qualified British educator with a strong background in both classroom and online teaching. I hold a CELTA certification and specialise in teaching English in a clear, structured way that aligns with the UK National Curriculum for both primary and secondary students.
I also have plenty of experience helping learners prepare for Cambridge Assessment English exams and IELTS. Whether you're looking to improve your general English skills or aiming for exam success, I’m here to support your journey.

My lessons aim to make students feel as confident as possible in their target language whilst also enjoying a relaxed learning environment. Lessons are tailored to students' needs and requirements and regular feedback and homework assignments are given. I don't hesitate when I have to speak with foreign people, I can attend meetings and share opinion on different topics.

Katharine's lessons are so dynamic that time flies and you regret not having booked a 1,5h class. She prepares good materials to keep the class interesting, along with effective activities to encourage you to speak and actively participate. If it is something you appreciate, on many occasions she may also ask you to choose the topic of the lesson.
Something I totally enjoyed is have the chance to discuss topics in-depth so that I could learn and use some advanced vocabulary, which is not often the case when you hang out with foreign friends.
I'll cross my fingers for the Cambridge exam!
