Haroldo is a wonderful teacher. He has lots of interesting ideas for conversation and adds just the right amount of error correction, vocabulary instruction and grammar knowledge without obstructing the flow of the conversation. This is the best way to learn another language.

A primeira aula com o Haroldo foi leve e descontraída. Nem percebi como o tempo passou. O Haroldo fez muitas perguntas para entender os meus objetivos e as minhas preferências no estudo da língua. Até planejamos alguns temas para as próximas aulas. Gostei da forma como ele ensina. Fala de maneira clara, num ritmo calmo e explica as palavras que eu ainda não conheço. Haroldo is an outstanding teacher! I've been learning Portuguese with Haroldo for almost a year now. The lessons never get boring and the conversations feel very natural, like talking to a friend. Haroldo is super flexible with the classes and has very europe-friendly hours, which makes it super easy to find lesson times that suit your schedule. I highly recommend Haroldo to anyone wanting to learn or improve Portuguese or English!

100 lessons with Haroldo somehow flew by — which is probably the best review I can give. He’s a great teacher, very easy to talk to, and somehow manages to keep the lessons relaxed and fun while still catching all the little mistakes I try to sneak past him. He makes learning Portuguese feel much more like having a good conversation than sitting through a lesson. After 100 lessons, we definitely never run out of things to talk about. I’d absolutely recommend Haroldo to anyone wanting to learn Brazilian Portuguese, whether you’re just starting out or already looking to improve your speaking.
