Johann Kwikfrench

Again Johann proved himself to be an absolutely formidable teacher. He goes above and beyond for his students and really cares about them and their learning and well being. I have recommended him to everybody who wants to listen. Today we talked about the world cup, different regions in France, chosing a path in life and about a film I saw and also just what had happened since last time. I easily respect and trust him and we never run out of conversation since he is so good at asking the right questions, proposing ideas for activities and listening. He is very capable as a teacher, he has a lot of knowledge and understanding of what it means to learn a new language. He is passionate about learning and it shines through. He speaks at the right pace, I learn new words and phrases everytime and I can feel my brain working, but I am never completely overwhelmed. He is encouraging, and if I don't understand something he says it in a different way until I get it, without ever making me feel dumb even though I must speak like a 7 year old... He really is one of best teacher I have ever had. I am amazed. He is ten times worth his price. I feem like i am improving with the speed of light compared to learning on my own! I should know I have been on my ! Thank you again Johann ~ Sophie

Johan was very personable and helped put me at easy. He also made the lesson interesting and fun!

He is an excellent teacher, firstly because he has had many life experiences that animate conversations, and secondly because he has a careful and reflective way of helping students to improve. If you need a teacher who can teach well without making you self conscious about your mistakes or accent (or whatever), he is an excellent choice.

After multiple lessons with Johann, I had to say that he's an exceptional teacher! Not only is he encouraging, patient and knowledgeable, but also so engaged in each lesson that it truly makes you want to continue your journey with learning French. The "classroom" atmosphere is invariably very supportive and lessons are always tailored to your needs. And, most importantly, Johann will be there for you through your linguistic ups and downs, which I greatly appreciate :) Thank you Johann!
