I've had 25 lessons with Vincenzo now. He is an absolute delight to talk to. It just feels like talking to a good friend. All his explanations are very clear and he always makes sure that I understood everything. Talking with Vincenzo has given me the confidence to speak with real Italians "in the wild." :) His lessons and homework are always tailored to my level and my interests. He's very patient and doesn't make me feel judged even though I know I am making many mistakes when speaking. I'm going to Italy in 9 days and I feel ready!

Not happy with italki and VPN

I keep trying to find the right words to do justice to Vincenzo’s amazing lessons, but I guess one has to experience it to really understand what I mean. On top of his expertise (we’re talking about a real teacher here) there’s this empathy and the ability to put himself in the student’s shoes. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to convey a clear sense of my perfect learning experience with Vincenzo. The reason I keep trying is that I feel I can’t thank him enough and I really wish more people could experience the absolute bliss I feel after every lesson. Go on, try it!

He is a wonderful teacher. He points out mistakes in a constructive and helpful manner and is amazing at keeping conversations going even for students with limited Italian (like myself).
