I speak with Stephy twice a week where we have free talk and review words that I didn't understand from a Hong Kong drama that she recommended to me. The lessons are very fun and casual. Stephy makes it feel more like I am talking to an old friend more than a tutoring lesson. I highly recommend taking lessons with Stephy :)

Stephy Lee is the best teacher I’ve had here on Italki while learning the Hakka Chinese language. She is very knowledgeable and engaging. There are only a few resources/reference materials online for learning Hakka Chinese and so most people have to come up with their own form of lesson plans and/or structure for learning the material. She is very innovative and friendly when it comes to teaching the language and passing it on. Provides practical sentences that you can use in everyday situations and other cultural information that is very useful. I look forward to more lessons with her for learning Hakka, Cantonese, & Mandarin.

I'm taking conversation classes with Stephy & she creates a very comfortable atmosphere. It feels like we've known each other for a long time & we never run our of topics to chat about. While I request a pressure-free environment since I'm only learning for fun, I have to point out that Stephy's knowledge in all the languages she teaches is impressive, so I feel I can rely on her when it comes to improving my Cantonese 🌸
