Hello everyone! My name is Erlenzi Quintero Aguilar. I view myself as idealistic, creative, and passionate about my profession. I would also use these words to describe my approach towards learning in general. As I have grown as a professional over the past 10 years, I have learnt new things every day. My teaching style is informed by the work of Professor Stephen Krashen on second language acquisition, especially regarding the importance to the student of receiving input that is relevant. The learner of a language must be exposed to it, fresh and new, as if he were a beginner swimmer and the language were water. For this reason I look to the learner himself to find themes, and then I design attractive activities to provide an immersion that is meaningful. Apprised of the person’s interests, experiences, and preferred learning style, I try to keep their motivations as high as possible.教材

I've been studying Spanish for about 3 weeks, and I've never spoken with anyone before. I was very nervous but Erlenzi made me feel comfortable by letting me try as much as I could. I found that to be a nice boost of confidence!

She gave me a different perspective that my previous teacher with another app. She Gave me some good tips on communicating in a more personal way ad expressing more meaningful conversation as opposed to learning perfect grammar, but not really speaking from the heart. Also, taught me that reading and writing will definitely speed up my comprehension

Erlenzi is a really great teacher. She clearly is very experienced and has thought deeply about language learning from a lot of different perspectives. She also is clearly a caring person who very much wants her students to succeed. I had a great lesson with her and am excited for more.
