皆さん、こんにちは！私はエレナです。中国南部の都市、広州出身です。
中国語は北京語と広東語が母国語です。
北京語、広東語、英語の語学学校の教師として5年以上働いています。主に留学生を教えています。教室では、言葉を教えながら、文化や歴史的な知識を共有しています。
私はすでに7年間のオンライン教育の経験があり、大人と子供に中国語と英語を教える資格を持っています。また、IELTSの教師養成コースも修了し、修了証も取得しています。
数年前、ワーキングホリデーでニュージーランドに滞在した際、異文化をより深く知るためには、その国の言語を学ぶことが常に最善の方法であることに気づきました。だからこそ、私は中国語と中国文化を学ぶ人たちを助けたいのです。同時に、私は中国人学生の英会話上達をサポートし、英語環境で勉強したり働いたりするための準備をすることにも力を注いでいます。

I’ve been learning with Elena on italki from HSK 1 all the way to HSK 4, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is incredibly patient and understanding—especially because I don’t have much time to study outside of class, so our lessons are basically my only study time. She never makes me feel bad about that and is always accommodating to my situation.
She’s easy to talk to, open-minded, and genuinely enjoyable to learn with, which has helped me stay consistent and keep progressing.

We talked about our day, today, and it branched off into other topics. And then we went on to the reading material. Whenever I wasn't sure of a word to express myself, I would ask, and my teacher would tell me and write it down for me to review. Her teaching style is great!

First lesson with Elena went very well! I have a very beginner level in Cantonese and she immediately adjusted her vocabulary and speaking rate so we could have a conversation that did not feel too challenging. I felt very comfortable to speak and ask questions. Elena was extremely patient with me, very supportive, flexible with my learning style, and helpful.
