I was born and raised in Tokyo, and I currently live near Asakusa, which is a very famous sightseeing spot. I work as an office worker during the week. I love talking with people from different countries and learning about their cultures and daily lives. I’d be so happy if learning Japanese adds more joy to your life! 私は東京に住んでいるので、標準的な日本語を教える事が出来ます。中学英語教員の免許を持っていて、子供たちに英会話を教えたこともあります。ビジネスレターや面接の練習をすることも出来ます。楽しみながら学んでもらえる雰囲気作りを大切にしています。 I'm based in Tokyo, so I can help you master standard Japanese. I’m a licensed junior high school English teacher and have experience teaching kids as well. Whether you need help with business letters or practicing for an interview, I’ve got you covered! I always focus on creating a fun, welcoming environment for my students. 私のレッスンは主に会話の練習が中心となります。みなさんが興味を持っている事について一緒に話しながら、発音や文法の間違えがあれば、正しい文章に直します。ビジネス用の日本語を学んだり、面接の練習もお手伝いします。新しい言語を学ぶということは、とても大変なことですが、笑顔で楽しかったと言ってもらえるようなレッスンを心がけています。 My lessons focus mainly on conversation practice. We can talk about topics you're interested in, and I'll help correct your pronunciation and grammar along the way. I can also help you with business Japanese or interview prep. Learning a new language is a big challenge, but I always aim to make my lessons fun and leave you with a smile!

Yesterday was my first lesson with Kazumi-sensei. Overall, I enjoyed the lesson. She kindly typed out a lot of sentences for me that I had been struggling with saying by myself. I was a little disappointed and confused when she refused to give her own self introduction. But she was engaging and kind overall.
