I really appreciate the way that Marina has helpful materials prepared in advance for our lesson. She really targets topics that are helpful to me, and provides a good balance of presenting the topic, modeling the language, and giving me time to practice. In addition to this, she gives very personalized feedback that I feel I'm immediately able to both understand and apply to improving my Portuguese!

Marina is seriously amazing. She is a remarkable teacher and has many thoughtful ways of giving her students methods for review. She is resourceful, patient, and very knowledgeable in the art of teaching as well as having an amazing grasp of English and Portuguese. I highly recommend you take lessons with her and you will see that she stands apart from others in both depth and breadth as well as a talented teacher. You seriously need to take lessons with her!

What a great class this morning with Marina! The didactic materials that she used to spark conversation during our lessons were great and they really provoked me to use the Portuguese language in ways that I hadn’t been challenged to use it before. Great way to start my morning!

Marina is an amazing teacher! She is very prepared with her own learning materials which mean lessons are well structured with a variety of learning methods (flashcards, games, presentations). Marina also always provides additional learning materials for self study which means it's easy to quickly progress and get the most of the 1-1 lesson time! Highly recommend, especially for any beginner looking to quickly build competence and confidence speaking
