Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Haruka. こんにちは！わたしのなまえははるかです！ I'm 26 years old and a native Japanese speaker. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I like to eat, sing, travel, exercise, and I love talking with different people! When I was a university student, I played lacrosse for 4 years. I get excited when I can experience new values and ways of thinking through conversation. That's why I decided to become an italki teacher. Let's learn Japanese and have lots of conversations together!

I have a teaching license. When I was a university student, I majored in education. I spent two months doing practical training at an elementary school and a junior high school. Using this experience, I aim to teach in a way that is easy to understand, paying close attention to the feelings of those learning the language. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all and being your "tomodachi" :)

レッスン形式・教え方

My lessons are based on "talking" a lot. Any topic is OK! I believe that having lots of conversations is the best way to learn a language. A relaxed environment and having fun help improve memory. Let's learn natural Japanese through conversation. If you want to use any textbooks or learn, please let me know in advance I want to prepare your class. Don't be nervous :) I want to create an affable atmosphere! If you don't understand something or you want to know something, feel free to ask me!

Haruka(san) does a great job of customizing lessons to fit my needs! She always quizzes me on past material at the beginning of class, and her positive attitude helps keep me motivated. Her teaching methods have been very effective thus far and I always find myself looking forward to the next lesson. If you're a beginner hoping to get some more practice, look no further!
