Hi, my name is Mika 👋

I study linguistics and Korean at the University of Bochum.

I'm easy going and open minded. I've been a teacher on italki for quite a while now and it never gets boring. I love that I can meet so many people from different countries and cultures through my classes. The best part of teaching is seeing my students make progress and their joy about it. It really puts a smile on my face to see the excitement in their eyes. 🤩 I'm passionate about teaching, very patient and will cheer and encourage you to keep going. I know, German is a hard language but I will tailor my class for you and give my best to make it fun and easy. So don't give up! 💪レッスン形式・教え方
My class is a safe space where you can speak comfortably without the fear of being judged. Often we think: "I don't know how to say this." or "I can't do it.". But from experience I can tell you: You know more than you think you do! Just give it a go! 💪Don't be afraid of mistakes, we can learn a lot from them. And if you struggle, I will help with grammar & vocabulary guide you through out the conversation. 🤓

- Do you teach children? - No. I only teach adults (18 < ).
- Do you teach total beginners? - No. I'm not a professional teacher hence I'm not qualified to teach German from scratch.
- Do you use a (grammar) book? - No. I only use topic sheets as a conversation starter.教材

Mika is always super nice and interesting to talk to! My german level is not so good and she still manages to get the best conversation out of it. It is just like talking to a friend. I feel I have improved so much since having my lessons with her. Please just don´t book all of her hours cause I really need her ;)

Das Gespräch war sehr interessant. Ich mache noch viele Fehler beim Sprechen, aber Mika ist sehr geduldig und hilft mir, die richtigen Sätze im Dokument als Notizen festzuhalten. Das ist toll. Danke schön!
