Hi! I am a native English teacher from a small town in England called Colchester. I am currently living in Daegu, South Korea, and before that I lived in Poland, China, and Cambodia. I studied Media Production at the University of Winchester, which was a course based heavily around film making, so of course this is a big passion of mine. As well as film, my other hobbies include playing and watching football, running, cycling, reading, and of course travel. I am a teacher by profession and have been working as an English teacher in language schools for the past nine years. During that time I have taught in the UK, Poland, China, Cambodia, and South Korea. I have experience of teaching children and adults, as well as some experience in exam preparation (IELTS), and business English. I have also taught a variety of diploma courses in subjects such as music, the environment, critical thinking, and film studies. I like to make my lessons enjoyable as well as engaging. I am a patient teacher so you don't need to be stressed about making mistakes; I will correct you and also explain the reasons why I am correcting you. I inspire confidence in my students and love to see them make improvements. Stuart is a great teacher. I had excellent lessons with him, and I will book more. He answered all my questions, and he can explain all grammar and conversational rules beyond the textbook. His lessons are very helpful according to grammar, conversational practice, and pronunciation. He helped me to gain confidence in my English. I recommend his lessons to every one who wants the same.

Stuart is one of the best English teachers I've ever had. I had lessons with him to prepare for IELTS and can say he knows it inside out. He always has up to date information about the exam. Planty of materials, useful tips and lots of practice are guaranteed at the lesson.
Besides that Sruart has a very pleasant personality; very supportive, organised and intelligent teacher.
Highly recommend lessons with Stuart if you are looking for professional English tutor for exams preparation or just for language upgrade.

Stuart is really a professional in his job, in particular in the IELTS preparation lessons. His speech is really clear. Every lesson he gives clear ideas, tips and plans on how to go about all the types of writing and speaking tasks, as well as provides new advanced vocabulary and grammar tips.
