I studied Japanese language education and linguistics both in college and grad school, and I have been a professional Japanese teacher for 10 years+. I used to teach in Oklahoma, USA and in Monterrey, Mexico.
I have taught people from diverse backgrounds such as exchange students, businesspersons, homemakers, high school students, and college students. So, I can customize my curriculum to meet your specific needs. I can also explain confusing and complicated grammar/vocabulary well!
私は大学と大学院で日本語教育と言語学を勉強して、もう10年くらい日本語を教えています。アメリカとメキシコでも教えていました。
今まで、留学生・会社員・主婦／主夫・高校生・大学生など、色々な国・年齢・職業の人に日本語を教えてきたので、みなさんのニーズに合わせた授業ができます。複雑な文法やことばも分かりやすく説明できます。 レッスン形式・教え方
I will encourage you to speak as much in Japanese as possible during my lessons, but we can always switch to English if you want!
My beginner/intermediate grammar&vocab lessons are based on "Dekiru Nihongo" but you don't need to have the textbook. I will also use various other textbooks and my original materials depending on the lesson options.

I highly recommend Izumi's class! Her teaching style works the best for how I learn with very engaging material from a unique textbook. Izumiさん is a Very good teacher. She knows how to teach in a fun way and is very kind. Very good English too, so the communication is no problem. There’s no need for textbooks which makes everything easier. いずみさんis Highly Recommended👍🏽
