Mina

So far so good! I am a beginner with only a tiny bit of knowledge from the Babbel app’s Swedish course, but I do have experience learning languages, including difficult ones like Japanese (I am JLPT N2 certified). So far in lessons since I do not have much vocabulary I write sentences before the lesson and we go over them and discuss grammar, phrases, and pronunciation. Once I have more vocabulary then we’ll have more conversational lessons. I am looking forward to more lessons with Mina!

My trial lesson with Mina was wonderful! She was super understanding about my learning disability (now dubbed my superpower thanks to her) and it felt like we bonded instantly. She’s really easy to talk to and was very interested in figuring out what way will work best for me in learning Swedish so she could tailor the lessons just for me. The conversation flowed and I never felt awkward or judged for my superpower nor my lack of language skill since I’m a beginner in every sense of the word. She didn’t sugarcoat the challenge ahead but she made me feel confident it’s something we can accomplish together. I am very much looking forward to our next lessons and I will update this once I’m further along!

è stata la prima lezione con mina ma mi sono sentita davvero a mio agio. è molto sorridente, coinvolgente e simpatica. spiega tutto benissimo e per essere stata la prima lezione abbiamo affrontato già i verbi al presente ed è stato davvero interessante. non vedo l’ora di continuare con lei!
