It was great seeing 佳老師 for the first time in a couple of weeks. For today's class, we talked about some common colloquial expressions that aren't usually taught in textbooks. I learned a lot and really enjoyed our conversation. 謝謝老師！

Today we continued going through an article on life lessons, based on a series of illustrations taken from Instagram. There was a lot of new terminology to learn. We didn't get as far as we expected to, because we spent a lot of time talking about what we were reading, but that's part of what makes our classes fun! 謝謝老師！：）

We finally finished the magazine article that we have been going through for the past few weeks. The subject matter was very interesting and I learned a lot of useful vocabulary. We're moving onto another magazine article, which looks very cute but also has a lot of useful life lessons. 謝謝老師！

We finished the article that we were going through and also spoke a bit about Taiwanese culture and some other topics. I'm not sure what Chia 老師 has planned for next time, but I'm looking forward to it! 謝謝老師！

We started going through a new article today. This article has 14 illustrations that represent different life lessons. The illustrations themselves were easy to understand, especially because of the English translations provided in the article. However, the accompanying explanations from the article use a lot of idioms and phrases. So, overall, this one is more challenging than the last one. But that's not a problem, because it's important to increase the difficulty of things over time (I'm blanking on the technical term for this). Anyway, 謝謝老師！

For the first little bit, we discussed the new changes to iTalki Classroom and Chia 老師 taught me some medical terminology related to my current situation. Then, we went back to the magazine article that we have been going through. We're so close to finishing. Chia 老師 already has the next article ready to go. 謝謝老師！
