Khaila

Never thought I'd have so much fun discussing a topic I don't like! LOL, today we learned terms related to sports. This actually made for some great conversation and I feel I learned a lot this morning. Khaila asked lots of questions, using new and old vocabulary. She was also extremely encouraging, even when I forgot words she's taught me more than once ;)

I’ve been wanting to improve my Arabic for a really long time. I’m so happy that I chose Khaila as my instructor — she’s so easy to talk to and so patient with me. I had such a fun time learning with her. I will definitely be signing up for more lessons from her. If you want someone who is patient, kind, knowledgeable, but also very serious about educating then she is the right choice!

I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the amount of words I am learning. Maybe we should extract them from my notes, and I can have a vocabulary test sometime! Or an exercise where you write the English sentence and I translate it into Arabic. Lausama7ti, shukran :)

Khaila is such a great teacher! She always makes sure I’m following along and doesn’t mind patiently explaining things with as many examples as I need. I also really appreciate her kind and encouraging attitude, along with high level of professionalism, whether we’re working on the materials she prepared beforehand or during lessons in a more spontaneous conversational format. I totally recommend!

Today we entered the brave new world of the active participle!!! Thankfully, Khaila is quite adept at explaining the distinctions between English and Arabic grammatical concepts! :)
