Britney

I'm quite shy and a lot of times even in my native language English I get nervous and can't think of things to say but Britney is so patient and her comforting personality makes it easy to feel relaxed. She really tries to challenge and encourage me in speaking Tagalog so I feel I'm progressing a lot just two lessons in!

Today’s lesson was very essential and extremely helpful. Focusing on pronouns and the use of markers in this lesson was important to make me understand the use of linking the markers to pronouns to form sentences or statements which translate to being able to speak in the language.

An enjoyable part of my day! Even after a long day at work, I look forward to having class with Britney. She is so positive and encouraging, I can't help but feel uplifted and motivated when I leave her class. This is my tenth class with Britney and already I am seeing results at home. I am speaking more and more with my Filipina mother everyday and I look forward to showing off what I've learned with my Filipino friends and coworkers each day. Britney not only helps me practice my grammar and pronunciation, what I enjoy most is that it feels like our Tagalog conversations are becoming more relaxed and natural. Maraming salamat po Britney for your patience and kindness in helping me learn wikang Pilipino!

Really enjoyable class and I feel myself progressing. The review, materials shared, and especially the role playing has helped me a lot in my learning journey. Brittney’s energy and enthusiasm keeps me motivated!

Teacher Britney’s way of teaching makes it very easy and enjoyable for me to learn. Her use of materials makes it easier for me to learn and comprehend but it’s really her conversational method that really makes me learn the language. Hearing her speak and pronounce words and phrases allows me to better understand and learn faster. She provides notes and reviews our lessons, and allowing me to ask questions is very helpful.
