Ich als Lehrerin. Me as a teacher: I am a professional and passionate teacher of modern languages such as German, English and Spanish. I am easy-going and patient, yet very disciplined. My aim is to get you speaking, listening, reading and writing from the very beginning. I completely understand the inherent difficulties of language acquisition and know, from experience, that learning a new language can be quite a challenge. I therefore tailor my classes to individual needs and aim for optimal effectiveness to reach the required goal of my students.

Interesting conversations at your language level. My preferred way of learning and teaching languages is through conversation, songs and games. We can talk about the cultures of different countries, current affairs or about art, music, literature, film and TV. This is a good way of getting comfortable in a language and of using words and phrases that are actually useful. We can look at a song together and think about the words. Perhaps you can learn the words of songs by heart for your homework in order to memorise useful expressions.

Eigentlich hat sich das Gefühl für die richtige Grammatik erst dann eingestellt, als ich schon einigermaßen gut Englisch/Griechisch sprechen konnte. Auch war ich nie eine ehrgeizige Paukerin. Für mich war immer der Spaß am Lernen im Vordergrund. Unterricht sollte heiter und entspannt sein und genau so möchte ich meine Lehreinheiten anbieten und gestalten.

In my own experience, if you want to learn a language, the most effective and fun way is talking with a (native) speaker. My native language is German but I also speak English and a little French and dutch. The German I speak is "hochdeutsch" which means it is the standard German without a dialect. I also have some teaching experience: I have been tutoring other students for many years now, both in high school and at university. I always enjoy getting to meet new people this way. Ich habe mich in zwei Ländern spezialisiert und verschiedene Lernmethoden und Bildungssysteme (Polen, Deutschland, Chile und Argentinien) kennengelernt.
