Insegnante di italiano con oltre 6 anni di insegnamento Ho studiato per 5 anni latino e greco al liceo, dove la grammatica era al centro dell'attenzione, con l'esperienza ho però capito che per iniziare ad apprendere una nuova lingua (cosa che ho sperimentato con l'inglese e lo spagnolo) è importante avere un ruolo attivo nell'apprendimento. In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

Il mio approccio è basato sulla conversazione e sull’approfondimento di tematiche culturali. Uso l’italiano come strumento per parlare dell’Italia stessa: di storia, città, tradizioni, identità, viaggi, arte e vita quotidiana. Le mie lezioni sono pensate per chi vuole migliorare l’italiano in modo naturale, attraverso il dialogo, l’ascolto e il confronto, piuttosto che attraverso lezioni scolastiche o manuali. Lavoro particolarmente bene con viaggiatori, persone con origini italiane, expat e curiosi in generale che cercano profondità e contesto.

I mezzi a disposizione per l'approccio all'apprendimento di una nuova lingua o di una lingua poco conosciuta, sono molti. Oltre all'utilizzo dei classici manuali, vorrei spaziare partendo, ad esempio, in ambito orale, con la spiegazione di alcuni vocaboli ed espressioni di base, per poi continuare con letture di articoli, parti di libri, testi di canzoni e curiosità in ambito culturale. Il tutto verrà concordato con lo studente, sempre tenendo conto di quelle che sono le sue esigenze e competenze linguistiche. Sono molto paziente e ci tengo a creare un ambiente di scambio che metta lo studente a proprio agio.
