Italian and English Teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience worldwide - fully qualified In 2005 after obtaining my Bachelor Degree from the University of Newport I studied at the University of Cardiff and achieved the PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) which is the necessary qualification in the United Kingdom to be able to be a teacher. In 2006 I moved to Bangkok in Thailand to teach English and Italian. I am a teacher who likes to be flexible, given the many years spent in different countries I am able to understand students from different cultures. My lessons are always targeted at each individual. I am a teacher full of enthusiasm and with many years of experience. I always encourage students to ask questions. I am very friendly and approachable.

It’s exciting and a little scary at the same time - after all, it’s a big responsibility. :) I’ve taught in a variety of contexts and places. I worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Valencia, taught privately in Barcelona, and even taught primary school children in Fiji as part of a volunteering project. In Oxford, I taught Italian to some very brave souls who took on the challenge. These days, I’ve moved fully to italki, which I love for its flexibility and convenience. I offer conversation practice, games, structured lessons, and tests, or a mix of everything—whatever helps you learn best. My classes are relaxed and conversational, but I’m always happy to adapt to your goals and learning style. One video I truly consider my teaching bible is “5 Techniques to Speak Any Language” by Sid Efromovich (TEDxUpperEastSide). It’s inspiring and genuinely useful - highly recommended! Above all, I adapt to my students; I don’t expect them to adapt to me. My only real requirement is seriousness, simply because I want you to make real progress and I don’t believe in wasting time. Ho un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" conseguito presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico.
