I’ve had several teaching experiences that helped me understand how to support language learners. I worked at a community center for a few months, where I interacted with people from different cultural backgrounds. During that time, I casually taught Korean to two Chinese friends, which made me realize how meaningful it is to help others speak my language. I also had a chance to teach Korean online as part of a course assignment at Kyung Hee Cyber University. These experiences taught me that building confidence through consistent practice and kind communication is key to successful language learning. 한국어 교사 2급 자격증 보유 4년 경력(중국어 교사 자격증 보유 15년 경력) 저는 중국에서 공부하고 거주하며 약 20여 년을 지냈고 15년을 중국어를 지도해 왔습니다. 한국어를 지도하게 된 것은 제가 근무하고 있는 학교에서 주말에 개설한 중국인을 대상으로 한 한국어 수업을 맡게 되면서입니다. 약 4년 정도 매주 토요일에 중국인들에게 한국어를 지도했습니다. 중국인 성인들을 대상으로 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 등을 종합적으로 지도하고 있습니다. 아무래도 제가 외국어로서 중국어를 학습한 경험과 지도 경험이 있어 외국인들에게 외국어로서의 한국어를 지도하는 스킬면에서 시행착오를 덜 겪도록 지도할 수 있다고 자부합니다. 또한 올해는 청소년들에게 한국어 기초를 지도했습니다. 성인 학습자들과 달리 청소년 학습자들은 문법보다는 회화에서 큰 발전을 보이고 있어서 저 또한 주로 회화 위주로 수업을 하며 더불어 한국의 속담과 관용어 등을 문화적인 배경 지식과 함께 전달해주고 있어 언어와 문화를 동시에 습득할 수 있도록 하고 있습니다. 앞으로 아이토키 플랫폼을 통해서 더 다양한 학습 특징을 가진 학생들을 접하고 싶고 그에 맞는 교수법을 공부하여 한국어 교육 분야에서 큰 성장을 이루고 싶습니다.

I do have some experience in teaching people in wide range of age, from toddlers to the elderly, including teaching languages or knowledge. Since it is likely that you're highly interested in learning language, I would love to share how awesome it is to work your brain and trick it into thinking that your target language is your mother tongue. ;) But... I mostly focus on sharing and having deeper understanding of a person which will give me insight on how to bring improvement in the best way. And that usually brings my improvement as well. So It's a win-win! :D

I will be aiming you to get there. it might be very challenge or you might feel fast in the class. I always welcome to hear your opinion. most of time I am trying to figure out your learning styles, your strength and weakness when you are speaking Korean. and then I will give you right feedback. also, I am willing to customize your next class. I am "not a full time" professional teacher and I am not 100% understanding every Korean grammar. but I will try to find out how it works in real life.
