I’m a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a level two, grade A Mandarin Proficiency certificate, which means I could be a professional Mandarin language teacher. I used to be a lecturer in Shanghai and have been teaching both languages for more than 7 years.

I have more than four years' experience in teaching foreigners Chinese.

I have three years of teaching experience, teaching students from children to adult. I can teach all levels of students. For kids, I know how to interact with them in funny ways, like we play games, watch videos, read flashcards. For beginners or teenagers or adult, based on your objective, I will design the plans for you and prepare your personal materials for you in every class. We will use whiteboard to learn Chinese pinyin and characters. More importantly, we will listen to short stories and make simple conversation. My courses will be student-centered and can be customized based on students' requirements and interests.

As a long-time English learner from a kid and a German learner for the recent one year, I know how difficult it is to learn a new language, especially in a different language system compared with the mother tone. I have some friends who are learning Chinese and I sometimes help them with their questions about the language. From this experience, I understand Chinese can be very confusing and easy to make mistakes sometimes. I used to give physics tutor lessons to high school students. Although teaching a language is a new journey for me, I will try my best to prepare for every course and improve your language level while we are both enjoying the process :)
