Mijn stijl van les geven is heel eenvoudig, makkelijk te volgen dus. Om dit te blijven hanteren is eerlijkheid een van de belangrijkste aspecten tijdens de les. Als iets onduidelijk is vind ik het fijn als de student dit te kennen geef. Op deze manier kunnen door gaan op een tempo die makkelijk te volgen is. Hier en daar kan wat grappen maken om de humor en energie te behouden tijdens de les. Ik kijk dus uit naar een leuke samenwerking met jou.

✨ Former teacher living abroad with an interest for the world and languages! 🌍 🎓I have a degree in Primary Education and I was a primary school teacher (mostly ages 10/11) in the Netherlands for a few years. After that, I moved to Uganda to homeschool some children. I also gave them lessons in Dutch as a second language. Since I love to be able to focus on one person, adapt to their needs and create lessons for them, I am excited to teach online. Ik heb een pabo diploma (basisonderwijs) en ik ben een aantal jaar juf geweest in Nederland (vooral groep 7). Daarna ben ik naar Uganda verhuisd om een aantal kinderen thuisonderwijs te geven. Ik heb hen ook lessen Nederlands als tweede taal gegeven.

I believe in a communicative approach: my students start speaking from day 1 by being introduced to basic structures! These structures are building blocks for creating many sentences. We will also practice specific sounds (pronunciation), and you'll be introduced to new vocab through conversation. Grammar is touched upon when a mistake is made, or when the message is not clear.
