I spent years studying but not speaking enough, and I felt stuck at a B1-B2 level for a long time. Once I started actively using the language—speaking, listening, and making mistakes—I finally began to improve. That experience really shapes how I teach today. I have three years of experience teaching in classroom settings, I have 3 years of experience teaching ESL online. I first started teaching in 2014 in Atenas, Alajuela, Costa Rica at Green Valley Academy and that's when I became passionate about teaching ESL.
