I have taught English and Spanish for 11 years now. I love going deep into grammar and vocabulary. I also enjoy helping students with test preparation. I even do the exercises while I have coffee! I like to teach functional language based on the student's needs. I started my career teaching children, but now I only teach adults. That's because my classes are more fun when I can discuss my student's grammar problems on a higher level. I was lucky to have excellent teachers who inspired me in my career. Like Mr. Ramos, whose passion and enthusiasm made the lessons enjoyable and fun. He always explained things with a smile, and I aim to be that kind of teacher every day.

I studied science and technology In the Netherlands and one of my jobs was training new employers to get ready for their job. In Thailand I started to teach at the local primary school of my village. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to get my TEFL certificate and did additional courses for natural learning, specially for kindergarten kids. Experienced language learner who wants to help facilitate the learning proccess As a teacher, I want to make sure that you are comfortable expressing yourself in English. In the past, I've tried an interactive approach incorporating specific vocabulary and expressions that suit whatever we were learning. Consistent correction can be frustrating and may even prevent progress so I want you to speak freely without worrying about making mistakes as I'll keep track of any significant and consistent errors.

Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication.
