Native speaker and German teacher for exam preparation and improvement of conversations (A1-C2) Although I am still a student at a high school, I have already gained useful experience in teaching: I am a 5-star rated teacher on Preply (another online teaching platform) where I helped many students to prepare for the Goethe exam or/and to improve their grammar and conversational skills. I have already been able to offer tutoring to many of my classmates in a wide variety of subjects too (English, German, Biology, History).

I mainly apply the communicative, audio-lingual, and direct methods which make lessons more interactive. All lessons are tailored to the learning preferences of a particular student to increase motivation and make the lesson more engaging. I also prepare for high level language exams (C1 Goethe Zertifikat for German and French DALF)

Die letzten fünf Jahre habe ich in einer Primarschule im Raum Zürich unterrichtet, dort war ich als DaZ (Deutsch als Zweitsprache)-Lehrperson tätig, wo ich auch noch die DaZ-Ausbildung absolviert habe. Das Unterrichten macht mir sehr viel Spass, ich bin sehr motiviert und zielstrebig.

That's why I try to do as many interactive exercises and drills as possible while keeping the grammar stuff to a minimum, where possible. But the truth is, you will have to learn some grammar when learning German, there's no way around it. But I promise I'll make sure to make the grammar parts as fun and engaging as possible. Plus I provide all the teaching material and exercise sheets, so you won't have to worry about getting books or anything like that.

So, instead of going through grammar topics & speaking a lot of English, I will try to stick to mostly speaking German with you and I encourage you to speak and use as much German as possible as well.
