Depending on the students’ language level, each part will have different degrees of difficulty. Students in my class are encouraged to learn Korean through “active learning”, i.e., rather than memorization, they actively apply what they have learned (e.g., writing or speaking exercises).

Also, when I was in high school, I worked as a Korean language mentor. I helped classmates and younger students with things like writing and speaking. Through these experiences, I learned that every student is different. Some lear fast, and some take more time-and that’s totally okay. I try to explain things in a clear and simple way, and I always try to be patient and kind. Even though I wasn’t teaching Korean to foreigners back then, those moments helped me learn how to teach and support others. Now I use that experience when I teach Korean here.
