Hey, I'm Marina. I've been teaching English and Portuguese for 9 years. Nice to meet you! With 10 years of teaching English, I’ve worked in courses, schools, and as a coordinator, helping many students achieve their language goals. I’ve also assisted numerous students in preparing for proficiency tests, guiding them through the process to reach their desired scores. Currently, I teach English online to a diverse group of students from around the world and also teach Portuguese to foreigners using my own unique method. I worked in hostels in Rio de Janeiro, and I am currently working in a small shop located within the walls of Old Quebec. Both are highly frequented cities by tourists, and because of that, I have had the opportunity to meet all kinds of people, while also learning a bit of anything and everything. I enjoy learning how to say greeting expressions and polite words in their native languages, which helps creating an nice and amicable atmosphere. I believe that this kind of experience makes me a good language tutor.

I've also been a Portuguese examiner/moderator at a South African university since 2013. Privately, I tutor students from Taiwan, China, Ireland, Italy and other countries, and of course, Eswatini (Swaziland).
