I have been trying to learn it on my own for several years, mostly by reading and listening, but speaking is what I miss and need the most. Why do you want to be a volunteer tutor? for the past several years, I have been working for a non-profit company. the population we serve is diverse. but the majority is Latino and Spanish speakers. I gained the CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary) after several after teaching practices in a classroom. I have a great deal of contact with the learners. part of my responsibility is to contact learners. I teach with the help of Translate. some of the Learners are illiterate, so I also teach with the pictures or videos. but I can only help with basic English and teach online; English is not my native language.
