Not in my country. But in China, there are some nannies for postpartum. After pregnancy, they can come at home taking care of the mother but also the newborn. They can either be at home or in some center. Chinese people take very seriously the physical and mental pain of a pregnancy. So I guess that's why this job exists, whereas in France where I live I have never heard about it. Of course, there are some nurses and psychologists but they tend to help occasionally not for a period of months. Maybe it's the Chinese women's secret of looking young. At least, they can have a good sleep with a nanny.

If learning English really worked, why does it disappear when your career is on the line? Many adult learners use English regularly and feel comfortable in low-pressure situations. They can read, listen, and prepare answers in advance. However, during important moments — such as job interviews, meetings, or conversations with senior colleagues — English may suddenly feel difficult to access. I would rather being stuck in a rut. I don't think it's negative. Changes imply too much stress. As an introvert, I might be overwhelmed by new situations, whereas finding oneself in predictable situations, it is such a safe solution! How satisfied is it to get planned things done like usual! I don't lack things in my current life. Same job, same friends. I am just content and fulfilled because I strive my best to achieve my goals. Being in a rut allows me to do things step by step. I repeat things that has worked. Ultimately, being in a rut is how I function the best.
