おはようございます。日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。

きのうは、
東京都(とうきょうと)
大阪府(おおさか)
広島県(ひろしまけん)などの、

府(ふ)や、県(けん)の話をしました！

今日はなぜ大阪と京都だけ、"県"ではなく、"府"というのか話します。

まず、昔はほかの場所(ばしょ)も"府"と言っていました。
それを1868年に、

首都(しゅと)は東京都、

重要(じゅうよう)な場所(ばしょ)として、
京都府、大阪府。

そのほかを"県"にする、

と決めたそうです。

大阪は商売(しょうばい)で大切なところでした。

京都は「京都御所」(きょうとごしょ)という、

天皇(てんのう)が、住んでいたところがあります。

なので、この２つが特別(とくべつ)だったんですね。

東京都、京都府、大阪府、
そのほかは、神奈川県、福岡県などの

"県"といいます。

あれ、もつひとつ・・

北海道(ほっかいどう)がありますね！！

北海道は、県でも、府でもありません！！

北海道もとくべつで、北海道といいます。

北海(ほっかい)ではないので、気をつけて下さいね。
