こんにちは。今日は7月10日水曜日です。「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は、「アイス」と「氷（こおり）」の違いについてお話しします。

みなさん、夏にアイスを食べるのは好きですか？アイスは甘くて冷たいお菓子です。日本語で「アイス」と言いますが、英語では「ice cream」と言いますね。一方、英語の「ice」は日本語で何ていうか知っていますか？日本語で「氷（こおり）」のことです。これらについて詳しく説明します。

まず、「アイス」について説明します。「アイス」は、甘くて冷たいお菓子のことです。夏の暑い日に食べると、とてもおいしいです。アイスは、子どもから大人までみんな大好きです。夏にアイスを食べると、気持ちがいいですね。

次に、「氷（こおり）」について説明します。「氷」は、水を冷やしてかたくしたものです。飲み物を冷たくするために使います。暑い日に冷たい飲み物を飲むとき、氷が入っているととても気持ちがいいです。

「アイス」と「氷」の違いがわかりましたか？「アイス」は甘くて冷たいお菓子で、「氷」は飲み物を冷たくするためのものです。同じ「冷たい」ものですが、指す意味が違いますね。

では、ここで「アイス」と「氷」を使ったいくつかの例文を見てみましょう。
	1.	「アイスを食べる。」
	2.	「ジュースに氷を入れる。」
	3.	「かき氷を作る。」

かき氷について少し詳しく説明しましょう。かき氷は、氷を細かくして、その上に甘いジュースみたいなものや果物をかけたものです。夏に食べると、とてもおいしいです。

日本では、夏にたくさんのアイスを楽しむことができます。いろいろな種類のアイスがあります。例えば、チョコレートに包まれたアイスやジュースみたいに飲むアイス、コーヒー味のアイスなどがあります。いろいろな味や形のアイスがあるので、ぜひいろいろ試してみてください。

ここで、みなさんに問題です。「アイス」は何のことですか？
冷たいお菓子
	2.  暑い飲み物
	3.	冷たい飲み物に入れるもの
正解は「1.冷たいお菓子」です。

今日もジョージアでPodcastを録っています。

今回は日本のニュース、ドラゴンボールの作者、鳥山明さんが亡くなりました、ということについて話します。

ニュースの内容を読みます。
これは、NHKのニュースです。

「DRAGON BALL」や「Dr.スランプ」など、魅力的なキャラクターが登場する世界的な人気作品を次々に生み出した漫画家の鳥山明さんが今月1日、亡くなりました。68歳でした。

僕は小学生から中学生までドラゴンボールを読んでいました。

特に小学生の時は大好きでした。
学校のマンガコンクール、というのがありました。
ぼくは5年と6年の時に、それに応募しました。

その時に描いた絵はドラゴンボールの絵でした。
そして、何か賞をもらったと思います。

もともとマンガのような絵を描くのは好きでしたが、その賞をもらったことで、もっと好きになったと思います。

今は絵を描いていません。
このことを思い出したので、何か絵を描こうかなと思いました。


ドラゴンボールで好きな戦いは、
悟空対ベジータ
ですね。

当時はこの戦いでドラゴンボールが終わるかも⁈とドキドキしながら読んだことを覚えています。


それから、今回のニュースで驚いたことは、
中国政府が公式のコメントがあったことや、
アメリカNBAの選手がドラゴンボールの絵が描いてあるシューズを履いていたこと、
世界のサッカーリーグが追悼するなど、
世界中の人が、ドラゴンボールに大きな影響を受けていたことを知りました。

日本語のレッスンでいろんな人と話をして、たくさんの人が日本のアニメをきっかけに日本語の学習をはじめていることも知りました。

改めて、日本人としてうれしい！と思いました。
そして、日本のおもしろいマンガをもっと世界のいろんな人に伝えようと思いました。
