假如有一个机器人完全是按照你的喜好制造的，他/她会为你做饭，帮你做家务，每天逗你开心，他/她了解你所有的需求，能满足你的所有要求，而且长得还很帅或者很漂亮，完全就是你的梦中情人，你会爱上他吗？

但是他/她可能没有心跳，没有人类的正常需求，不用吃饭，不用上厕所，也不需要睡觉。但是他会唱歌，也可能会跳舞，甚至上知天文，下知地理，你不会的事情问一下他就可以了。但是他/她可能没有荷尔蒙，不知道他/她会不会让你心动呢？

或者他/她可以成为很好的朋友？也可能是一个很危险的人物，如果他被病毒入侵了。你期待拥有一个机器人吗？

op universities in California like Stanford and the University of Southern California will no longer be able to favor the relatives of alumni and school donors during the application process.

That's after state governor Gavin Newsom signed a law banning all private nonprofit colleges from giving preference to so-called "legacy" applicants and those with links to donors.

Newsom said the law already applied to public universities in the state. The law will now apply to all universities from September 2025.

The governor said: "In California, everyone should be able to get ahead through merit, skill, and hard work. The California Dream shouldn't be accessible to just a lucky few, which is why we're opening the door to higher education wide enough for everyone, fairly."

California is the second US state to ban both public and private universities from favoring legacy applicants. Maryland was the first, earlier this year, although the state's top school — Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore — had already ended the practice independently.

Virginia, Illinois and Colorado have banned public universities from giving preferential treatment to those with links to former students or donors.

Admissions to US universities are very competitive. And legacy admissions policies give an advantage to applicants whose — often wealthy, often white — family members previously attended the university, or who have donated money to the school.

A 2022 study looked at one unnamed US university and found that, over a 16-year period, 34% of legacy applicants were accepted — compared to just 14% of non-legacy applicants.

A group representing private colleges in California said it was "uncomfortable" with the state getting involved in the universities' admissions processes, but said the institutions would follow the new law.

ESTE CUENTO NOS HABLA DE: La Bruja que Olvidó Volar.



En un bosque encantado vivía Azucena, una bruja que había olvidado cómo volar. Mientras sus compañeras surcaban los cielos en sus escobas, ella pasaba sus días entre libros antiguos y pociones mágicas. Un día, un pequeño duende llamado Brillo se ofreció a ayudarla. Juntos, descubrieron que para volar, una bruja necesitaba un corazón lleno de alegría y confianza en sí misma.

Tras preparar una poción especial y realizar una danza mágica, Azucena se subió a su escoba y, para su sorpresa, comenzó a elevarse por los aires. Había recuperado su habilidad y, lo más importante, había aprendido una valiosa lección. Desde aquel día, Azucena se convirtió en la bruja más feliz del bosque, compartiendo sus conocimientos con los demás.

A menudo, organizaba clases de vuelo para las brujas jóvenes que, como ella en su momento, tenían miedo de alzar vuelo. Con su paciencia y sabiduría, ayudó a muchas a superar sus miedos y a disfrutar de la libertad de volar. Azucena y Brillo se convirtieron en los mejores amigos del bosque, explorando juntos cada rincón y compartiendo muchas aventuras mágicas. Y así, la bruja que olvidó volar se convirtió en una leyenda, recordando a todos que la magia más poderosa reside en uno mismo.
