As a beginner level language learners, you can study reading in a simple word. But, simple words like what? You must be wondering when you read the title of this column. The first words you should read are: Practice reading numbers and colors. Yes, it matters. Because when you study Indonesian with materials such as BIPA, you will be invited to read simple conversational texts where usually simple conversations will discuss questions like "What time is it?" then you have to answer with Numbers, right?
Apart from learning to use file books, when you are a traveler and are going to Indonesia, of course you will use a lot of money and you have to know how to say it in Indonesian. Of course you can actually use English, but remember when you are a foreigner in another country, they will be happy if you can use that country's language, especially Indonesians.
So, feel free to learn numbers and colors as a beginner

Noting down Out-of-Context Vocabulary and Memorizing it is the Least helpful strategy when it comes to learning new vocabulary. New words have to be Acquired, not Memorized.

Здравствуйте. Это седьмой эпизод подкаста «Глубинный народ», взгляд на культуру России из провинции.

Француз, живущий в польском Гданьске (бывшем немецком Данциге), обратил моё внимание на русское слово «вдохновение».

Слово это не исконно русское. Я нашёл «въдъхновение/дъхновение» в большом словаре раннего старославянского языка (смотрите иллюстрацию).

Цитата в словаре очень хороша: «доуша же его ввиде к богоу емоу же слоужи с дъхновениемъ и страхомъ.»

По мнению академика В. В. Виноградова, «Пушкин признал церковнославянский язык одной из живых стихий русского литературного языка.»

Как писал Н. В. Гоголь в статье 1846 года, «[Русский язык] может, живой, как жизнь, обогащаться ежеминутно, почерпая, с одной стороны, высокие слова из языка церковно-библейского, а с другой стороны, выбирая на выбор меткие названья из бесчисленных своих наречий…»

В этом знаменитом стихотворении Пушкина слово «вдохновение» играет важную роль:
