शादी की सालगिरह (shaadi ki saalgirah) – wedding anniversary
दावत देना (daavat dena) – to throw a dinner
न्योता देना (nyota dena) – to invite
बुलावा (bulaava) – invitation, call
ज़रूर आइएगा (zaroor aaiyega) – please do come
सपरिवार (saparivaar) – with family
मेज़बान (mezbaan) – host
मेज़बानी करना (mezbaani karna) – to host
रसोई में हाथ बँटाना (rasoi mein haath bantaana) – to help in the kitchen
थालियाँ लगाना (thaaliyaan lagaana) – to lay out the plates
पहले बड़ों को (pehle badon ko) – elders first
बच्चों को पहले खिला दो (bachchon ko pehle khila do) – feed the children first
खाना बहुत स्वादिष्ट था (khaana bahut swaadisht tha) – the food was delicious
हाथ का स्वाद (haath ka swaad) – the taste of someone's cooking
ख़ुश रहो, बेटा (khush raho, beta) – be happy, child — an elder's blessing
जीते रहो (jeete raho) – live long — an elder's blessing
सदा सुखी रहो (sada sukhi raho) – be ever happy
फ़ोटो खिंचवाना (photo khinchwaana) – to have a photo taken
सब एक साथ (sab ek saath) – everyone together
सेल्फ़ी लेना (selfie lena) – to take a selfie
ग्रुप फ़ोटो (group photo) – group photo
मेहमानों का कमरा (mehmaanon ka kamra) – guest room
तौलिया रख दिया (tauliya rakh diya) – a towel has been put out
कुछ चाहिए तो बताना (kuchh chaahiye to bataana) – tell me if you need anything
संकोच मत करना (sankoch mat karna) – don't hesitate
अपना घर है (apna ghar hai) – it's your own home
