Before you private message someone on Italki with hopes to get 'free language exchange,' check their profile first. If it has a 'Switch to Teacher Profile' button under their user ID then they are a tutor or teacher on Italki and they will most likely not do free language. If you only want free language exchange message someone that does NOT have a 'Switch to Teacher Profile' button under their user ID.
