Would you correct this text for me, please? 365 days of writing prompts February 16 The clock Write about anything you'd like. Somewhere in your post, include the sentence, 'I heard the car door slam, and immediately looked at the clock'. I complained about a task to my friend and she told me a story that happens in a literature competition. The students were given the task to write a text which has to mention a God, a queen, sex, and a secret. So the text was written. 'O, God! - exclaimed the Queen, - I'm pregnant and doesn't know who is the father!' My literature talent is less than this unknown student, so I just wrote this story for you. #365daysofwriting #365daysofwritingprompts

Would you correct this text for me, please? 365 days of writing prompts February 16 The Clock [capitalize words in titles] Write about anything you'd like. Somewhere in your post, include the sentence, 'I heard the car door slam, and immediately looked at the clock'. I complained about this task to a friend ["my friend" implies that you have already introduced your friend as "a friend" or "one of my friends"] and she told me a story that happened [completed action in the past] in a composition/writing competition. The students were given the task to write a text which had to [had to - obligation in the past] mention God ["a god" means one of many gods, but some cultures only recognize one god (God, Yahwey, Allah, ... depending on the religion)], a queen, sex, and a secret. A clever student wrote: 'Oh, God!' exclaimed the Queen. 'I'm pregnant and don't know who the father is!' [embedded statements use statement order not question order] My literature talent is less than that of this unknown student, so I have just repeated this story for you. #365daysofwriting #365daysofwritingprompts
