Help me correct this text, please. 365 days of writing prompts February 1 Flangiprop! Invent a definition for the word 'Flangiprop', then use the word in a post. A “flangiprop” is a girl who has moved from a little village or a town to the capital and who’s trying to settle down there. She has a belief that she will be lucky enough to meet her Prince (Prince Charming?) and get married. She wants a luxurious lifestyle. But we have the saying in Russia 'You can move a girl from a village, but you can't remove the village from the girl'. And I think she won't have a happy end (1). #365daysofwriting #365daysofwritingprompts
(1) This sentence is fine, but I think the following would be better (and makes the story sound even more like a fairytale): And I don’t think she’ll live happily ever after. Other options: And I think she’ll meet an unhappy end. And I don’t think she’ll have a happy ending.
