Sometimes saying "sorry" directly is not easy to do and so most people who cannot verbalise it would rather show their remorse in actions.
I am saying sorry by buying the person a gift.

We can "say sorry" by our acts to other I think. He/She could feel the apologize like that. The words are so effective for us, yes, but first, the most effective, impacting thing to the human is feelings. Apologizing is sentimental.
