Dear Diary No.4 For the beginners who wants to learn Chinese Mandarin Chinese is not too hard to every foreigner. For the beginners first you need to learn Chinese Pinyin. It’s made up by initials and finals. Then will learn the basic four tones and the some tones Sandhi. There are four basic tones in standard Chinese. If the tones are different, the meanings of the same syllable will be different. For example: bā 八 eight bá 拔 pull bǎ 靶 target bà 爸 father. This parts is very boring, but after that when you see pinyin you can read every Chinese sentence. Last Friday on my class when I was teaching Pinyin one of my foreign student was very interesting. She thought Chinese was very hard for her, so she taught me a few words in her country’s language. It was very funny when I spoke it. Now although I forget it, I still remember we were laughing when they heard what I talked. Whatsoever, all of them are very nice and naughty. Thanks for every who helps me here.
