Some interesting words in Chinese

About 东西:

If you say that somebody is a 东西, he will be very angry.
If you say that somebody is not a 东西, he will be very angry.
So you cannot say somebody is a 东西 or is not a 东西.


About 多少:
I cannot express the meaning in English, please read the Chinese sentences:
夏天,能穿多少穿多少;
冬天,能穿多少穿多少.

In summer wear as little as you want?

In winter wear as much as you can?

多少 in the first sentences means less (少), 多 is a adverb to act on 少. The sentence means wearing fewer clothes in summer.
多少 in the 2nd sentences means more (多), 多少 is one word that means something. The sentence means puting on more clothes in winter.
